Local Bartender Prepares to Self-Publish Novel Using Crowd Funding
Casey Caracciolo, a Lambertville resident and bartender at Triumph Brewing Company in New Hope, is getting ready to self-publish his first novel, The Shadow of the Gauntlet.
The decision to self publish was an easy one for Caracciolo. After spending five years writing and rewriting the novel, he did not feel comfortable turning his work over to a publisher and relinquishing control to a large company. As an author in the year 2012, Caracciolo realized the traditional publishing model was not the path for him as author or for The Shadow of the Gauntlet.
To help make The Shadow of the Gauntlet a reality Caracciolo decided to employ the help of crowd funding site Kickstarter. Through Kickstarter, Caracciolo hopes to reach a wide audience of individuals to support his project.
