Someone slashed two tires on a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica belonging to a Town Court North resident while it was parked in the parking lot between 7 a.m. Dec. 8 and 7 p.m. Dec. 9. Damage was estimated at $160.
Vandals knocked down a mailbox belonging to a Berwyn Place resident and also pulled a stop sign out of its base on the corner of Berwyn Place and Lawrence Road, leaving it opposite the house where the mailbox was damaged. The incidents occurred between 10 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9 a.m. Dec. 9. Damage to the mailbox was estimated at $20.
Stephen J. Dawson, 26, of Trenton, was charged with driving under the influence, driving without headlights, reckless driving and other offenses after he was stopped for driving erratically on Brunswick Pike at 1:12 a.m. Dec. 7. He was released to his father’s custody.
A flat-screen TV set, valued at $298.84, was removed from an unlocked room at Mount’s Motel on Brunswick Pike. The theft was reported at 9:52 a.m. Dec. 5.
Geraldine E. Flores, 50, of Valley Forge Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving after the 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe she was driving overturned on Tartan Court at 11:43 p.m. Dec. 4. She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton after she complained of pain in her head, and then released to her husband’s custody.
A 17-year-old Lawrence High School student was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after school officials were tipped off that a group of students was standing across the street from the high school, smoking marijuana, at 8:12 a.m. Dec. 4. He was released to his mother’s custody.
Shabria Hewitt, 18, of Trenton was charged with shoplifting for taking jewelry and clothing worth $393.23 from Macy’s at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 10:49 p.m. Dec. 3. She was released on a summons.
Claudia Carolina Cajas, 34, of Trenton was charged with shoplifting for taking clothing and jewelry worth $126.96 from Sears at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 3:31 p.m. Dec. 3. She was released on a summons.
