POLICE BLOTTER: Week of Dec. 13

Florence
   At 1:10 p.m. Dec. 7, an officer found Zachary Tucker Jr., 32, from Florence, walking in the area of Broad Street, police said. A check revealed that a warrant from Camden was in effect.
   Police said when the officer approached him, Mr. Tucker ran and a foot chase ensued.
   Mr. Tucker was located in the basement of a residence on Broad Street and taken into custody, police stated.
   He was charged with resisting arrest and transported to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Police said that on Dec. 8 an officer stopped a vehicle on Route 130 at 9:31 p.m. for several motor vehicle violations.
   During the investigation and subsequent vehicle search a small quantity of marijuana was found, police said. The driver, Bruce Hawkins, 66, from Philadelphia, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle offenses.
   He was awaiting a court appearance as of press time.

   December 9, an officer stopped a motor vehicle on Route 130 in the area of the New Jersey Turnpike entrance, police stated. During the investigation an odor of burnt marijuana was noticed and a small quantity was located in the driver’s door.
   The driver, Tyrell P. Gregory, 21, from Willingboro, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of controlled dangerous substance in a Motor Vehicle, and two motor vehicle offenses.
   Mr. Gregory was processed and released pending a court appearance.
