To the editor:
The next Raritan-Millstone flood commission meeting is being held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. in Manville’s Borough Hall.
On the agenda is a readout of the Zarephath flood levee project from N.J. Department of Environmental Protection and how it impacts Manville. Nothing can be more self-evident than Manville having a priority need for a levee on our side of the river to protect our residents whohave suffered long enough.
Please take some time out of your busy holiday season and attend the meeting. Let’s show them we care about our town’s future and the impacts of potentially higher flood water levels if no actions are taken. Let’s hope we get all our questions answered.
Happy holidays.
Richard M. Onderko
Borough Councilman
