Joseph Sibert, 74, of Trenton, was arrested Dec.15 and charged with criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools.He allegedly was spotted with a screw-driver trying to force open a coin box of a newspaper stand on Nassau Street around 10:22 p.m., police said.
Police are looking for a robbery suspect who entered Zorba’s Brother on Nassau Street at 10:20 p.m. on Dec. 15. The suspect, identified as black male between 35 and 40 years old and wearing dark clothing, walked inside the business just after closing time, police said. He did not display or threaten to have a gun, police said. A store employee confronted the suspect and shoved him out the door onto the sidewalk, police said. He was last seen on Nassau Street. Nothing was stolen.
Plainsboro
Geoffrey Crawley, 39, of Glen Carbon, Ill., was arrested Dec. 16 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Dey Road at 2:49 a.m. He also was charged with failing to maintain a lane, reckless driving, having an unregistered vehicle and improperly using high beams.
Charles M. Brown, 27, of Forestville, Md., was arrested Dec.15 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 north at 12:53 a.m.
Daniel Herrera, 24, of Trenton, was arrested Dec.15 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A Plainsboro resident reported to police Dec.14 that someone had obtained his debit card information and opened an iTunes account and charged $126.04.
A West Caldwell resident reported to police Dec.14 that her wallet had been taken from Can Do Fitness when she left it alone on Dec.11.
Princeton Township
Elington Black, 42, of North Brunswick, was arrested Dec.16 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Princeton-Kingston Road at 12:52 a.m. Mr. Black also was issued summonses for reckless driving and failing to maintain lamps.
Susan Drabek, 55, of Princeton, was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Overbrook Drive at 2:18 p.m.
Three tires were slashed on a vehicle parked on Leigh Avenue during the overnight hours of Dec.12.
Jeffrey Carter, 30, of Philadelphia, was arrested Dec.13 and charged on a warrant from Hammonton Municipal Court.
John Kogut, 49, of Princeton, was arrested Dec.12 and charged on a warrant.
