Searching for that last minute holiday gift idea? Your problem is solved. The New Hope Borough Park and Recreation Board has a “unique gift that would be appreciated by anyone receiving it. How about a commemorative tile placed in the borough’s new tile mural in the New Hope Community Room?
”We have had a very good response to our commemorative tile and brick program over the past few years,” said Beth Hasher, chairwoman of the New Hope Borough Park and Recreation Board.
”For just $100 you can have the name of a friend or loved one engraved on the tile for a lasting gift. It’s a very unique idea, and all you have to do is log on to the borough’s website at newhopeborough.org, find the form, complete it and order.
You will receive a gift certificate that you can present as your gift,” added Ms. Hasher.
The board also has announced that it will present a tribute to Doro Kerr on Jan. 26, 2013 at Occasions in New Hope as part of the Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival. Tickets for the event can be obtained at www.winterfestival.net.
