OceanFirst Foundation has established a $500,000 relief and recovery grant program to assist the efforts of nonprofit organizations in the Jersey Shore market area that are helping local families impacted by Sandy.
The foundation also announced the first three grant recipients that will each be awarded $50,000 to help meet the emergency basic needs of local families: the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Neptune; St. Francis Center, Brant Beach; and Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton (Emergency Services).
Nonprofit organizations that are assisting individuals and families impacted by Sandy in the OceanFirst Bank market are invited to apply for grants of up to $25,000 from the OceanFirst Foundation Relief and Recovery Program and should contact 732- 341-4676 for details.
