   Folk Dancing 7 p.m. at Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library System, Darrah Lane. Celebrate the approaching New Year with members of the Princeton and Highland Park Folk Dancers who will lead an informal session of easy-to-learn, fun, folk dances from Africa, Israel, Macedonia, Greece, and Bulgaria. Sun., Jan. 20
   Phyllis Alpert Lehrer, a professor of piano at Westminster Choir College, will perform a recital of classical works for The Greater Princeton Steinway Society at its monthly musicale at 3 p.m. in the Recital Hall at Jacobs Music, 2540 Brunswick Pike (U.S. Route 1), Lawrence. Society memberships are $50 per individual or $85 per family and include admission to all six musicales. Tickets for individual musicales are $18 for adults or $10 for full-time students, and may be purchased at the Jacobs Music Recital Hall 30 minutes before each program. All proceeds from ticket sales help fund scholarship awards for aspiring young pianists.
