MANVILLE: Library Happenings column for week of Dec. 20

The Manville Public Library wishes everyone “Happy Holidays.” At the holidays, the library will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 for Christmas , and closed for the New Year’s celebration on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
The library hosted a Christmas piano recital Dec. 8 and it was attended by a capacity crowd. Fourteen young pianists from the Jess Aggabao Music Studio delighted the audience with traditional, classical and modern Christmas music. The performers ranged from 6 to 18 years old. Jess Aggabao, the director and head teacher of the Music Studio, hosted the 90-minute concert.
Prizes were given away for Christmas trivia. The highlight of the concert was the performance by 18-year-old jazz pianist Christopher Aggabao of Montgomery. The other performers reside in Hillsborough, Montgomery and Princeton.
