Allentown
Gregory Lawrence, 48, of Trenton, was charged with driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop on Route 526 at 8:25 p.m. on Dec. 13, police said.
Patrolman Richard Lerche also discovered Mr. Lawrence had a warrant for his arrest from Lawrenceville for failure to appear in court. Mr. Lawrence posted $1,332 full cash bail and was released with a pending court date.
Breon Graffie, 21, of Hamilton, was charged with driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop on Church Street at 6:40 p.m., Dec. 23, police said.
Patrolman Richard Lerche transported Mr. Graffie to police headquarters where he was processed and released with a pending court date.
Robbinsville
Gina Avanzato, 19, of Hamilton, was charged with underage DWI and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 1:33 a.m., Dec. 18, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle failing to maintain its lane on Route 526 and pulled it over on Hibiscus Lane. Ms. Avanzato failed field sobriety tests, police said. She was also charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, careless driving, reckless driving and making an unsafe lane change.
Ms. Avanzato was arrested, charged, processed and released with a pending court date.
Silverio Reyes, 38, of Cranbury, was charged with DWI and other offenses at 2:21 a.m. on Dec. 18, police said.
Patrolman Wayne Haugh responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Main Street in the Windsor section of the township and detected evidence that the driver, Mr. Reyes, was drunk. Mr. Reyes failed field sobriety tests, police said.
Mr. Reyes was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, being an unlicensed driver, driving while suspended, and having an open container of alcohol. He was arrested, charged, processed and released with a pending court date.
Two Trenton residents were arrested on various drug charges on West Manor Way at 4:49 p.m., Dec. 20, police said.
Police responding to a report of possible narcotics activity questioned Joann Mason-Nevius, 54, and Kirk Seale, 59, and observed evidence that narcotics may be present in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed a small quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Ms. Mason-Nevius was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of prescription legend pills (without a valid prescription), and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Mr. Seale was charged with possession of crack cocaine, prescription legend pills and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Both suspects were arrested, processed and released with a pending court date.
Thomas Hatala, 55, of Robbinsville, was charged with DWI and other offenses at 10:42 p.m., Dec. 21, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle fail to signal a lane change on Route 130 and pulled it over on Hankins Road. During the traffic stop, the officer detected evidence that the driver, Mr. Hatala, was intoxicated and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
Mr. Hatala was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and failure to use a turn signal, police said. He was arrested, processed and released with a pending court date.
Four people were arrested on drug charges after a motor vehicle stop on at 12:57 a.m., Dec. 23, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle make an unsafe lane change on Route 33 and pulled it over on Robbinsville-Edinburg Road near Union Street, police said. During the stop, the officer detected evidence narcotics was present and a subsequent search revealed a small quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia are: Raul Avila, 22, of East Windsor; Jennifer Cieslarczyk, 22, of South River; Fallon Jenner, 22, of Robbinsville; and Mario Sanchez-Marinos, 22, of East Windsor; according to police. The driver, Mr. Avila, was additionally charged with having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and making an unsafe lane change.
All four suspects were arrested, processed and released with a pending court date, police said.
Peter Gerry, 67, of Delhi, New York, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 10:54 p.m., Dec. 24, police said.
Patrolman Shawn Bruton responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the area of Route 130 and the Robbinsville bypass. The officer located the reported vehicle in the parking lot of a gas station and observed evidence that the driver, Mr. Gerry, was intoxicated. Mr. Gerry failed field sobriety tests, police said.
Police said Mr. Gerry was also charged with being an unlicensed driver; driving while suspended; reckless driving; careless driving, making an improper U-turn; failure to comply with a court’s order to install an ignition Interlock device (a breath alcohol analysis device that prevents a drunk person from starting the car); and driving while suspended for a second DWI offense.
Mr. Gerry was arrested, processed and released with a pending court date.
Ian Hunt, 22, of Robbinsville, was charged with DWI and other offenses at 2:23 a.m., Dec. 28, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle speeding and failing to maintain its lane on Route 130, and pulled it over on Maple Street, police said. Mr. Hunt failed field sobriety tests, police said.
Mr. Hunt was additionally charged with careless driving, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane, and failure to comply with a court order to install an Interlock ignition device.
