Opening Reception:      Saturday, February 9, 2013, 4-7pm
Lambertville, NJ – Artists’ Gallery is pleased to announce “Lyrical”, a very special group show featuring artwork by the gallery’s 18 house artists.  The show is a celebration of poetry and song through fine art. “Lyrical” will run from Friday, February 8, 2013 through Sunday, March 3, 2013. For this show of artworks for sale, each of the gallery’s house artists will offer pieces accompanied by inspiration they received from a poem or song.  A “sweets” reception with the artists, free and open to all, will be held at the gallery (18 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ) from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
Each February, Artists’ Gallery, one of Lambertville’s longest running art galleries, celebrates its passion for art with a group show.  Visitors will find a variety of genres from classical to contemporary in several different media, including painting, photography, and sculpture.
“The artists of Artists’ Gallery recognize the power that words have in the creation of artwork, often working in our studios with music playing. In this exhibit, we are excited to share some lines of verse which have influenced our titles or reflect the meaning behind our artwork”, says Beatrice Bork, painter and artist member of the gallery.
In addition to the special group show, visitors to Artists’ Gallery will find several rooms with new works by each of the gallery’s 18 artists.
The 18 artists at Artists’ Gallery are: Beatrice Bork, Gail Bracegirdle, Jennifer Cadoff, Paul Grecian, Richard Harrington, Charlie Katzenbach, Joe Kazimierczyk, Norine Kevolic, Alan Klawans, Patricia Lange, Alla Podolsky, Eric Rhinehart, Carol Sanzalone, Doug Sardo, Michael Schweigart, John Treichler, Charles David Viera, and Andrew Werth.
