City of Lambertville police reported:
— A 16-year old boy was arrested on Dec. 14 after police were called to the area of North Union Street at 7 p.m. to check out a group of juveniles breaking bottles in the street. Officer Anthony Memolo located the teens on York Street and one of them indicated they had been responsible for throwing the bottle.
As the officer was gathering information, the boy suddenly became aggressive and threw his cell phone against the marked patrol car, causing slight damage. The boy was restrained and taken into custody, at which point he began attempting to kick out a window of the patrol car and also kicked another officer who was assisting in restraining him.
The boy was charged with assault on an officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
— Erin Stoble, 34, was arrested for driving under the influence after a motor vehicle crash on Dec. 19. Officer Vincent Albani was called to the scene of the accident, which occurred on North Union Street at 2 p.m. Ms. Stoble was operating a 2009 Hyundai when she lost control and struck a 2008 BMW that was parked. Ms. Stoble was determined to be under the influence and subsequently arrested. She was charged with DUI, reckless driving and failure to exhibit documents. She was later released with a pending court date. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.
— David Conte, 40, of New Hope, was arrested for DUI on Dec. 20 as a result of a motor vehicle stop. Officer Michael Gramlich stopped Ms. Conte on Route 29 for speeding at 8:15 p.m. Mr. Conte was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was charged with DUI, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving and speeding. He was later released with a pending court date.
— On Dec. 24 at 12:30 a.m., Officer Joseph Weber observed a vehicle “intentionally attempting to strike another vehicle” at the intersection of Bridge and North Main streets. The vehicle intentionally pulled away from the officer after he signaled it to stop. The vehicle pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant on Swan Street.
The operator, Luis D. Lopez-Sanchez, 35, of Lambertville, was charged with reckless driving, improper passing, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to keep right, failure to yield to a police vehicle, failure to signal a turn, failure to change his address on his driver’s license, and driving while his license was suspended. He was released pending a court appearance.
— On Dec. 26 at 9:48 p.m., Detective Michael Miloszar’s investigation revealed a motor vehicle crash on South Main Street. A vehicle, driven by Dennis J. Pagliotti, 43, of Broomall, Pennsylvania, was backed into a parked vehicle. Mr. Pagliotti was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving and improper backing. He was released pending a court appearance.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
