Princeton
Autumn Sunrise Fosky, 67, a homeless man, was arrested Dec.29 and charged with simple assault and receiving stolen property. Mr. Fosky allegedly hit an 81-year-old woman in the face on Nassau Street at 9:11 a.m., with the victim suffering a cut lip and being hospitalized at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Police also alleged that Mr. Fosky had a book that had been stolen from a local bookstore.
Montgomery
Stephen N. Simon, 20, and Stefan Bubnowski, 18, both of Belle Mead, were arrested Dec.16 and charged with possession of marijuana. Mr. Simon also was cited for failing to wear a seatbelt and for having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Police responded to McElroy Lane Dec.15 and again Dec.16 for three residential burglaries that occurred while the residents were away. Jewelry and camera equipment were reported stolen.
Cesar Ribeiro, 48, of Skillman, was arrested Dec.14 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Orchard Road at 7:11 p.m.
A laptop computer and an iPad were reported stolen during the overnight hours of Dec.14 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on Gaitway Drive. Also, a generator adjacent to the residence was reported stolen.
Plainsboro
Daniel A. Estevez, 44, of Trenton, was arrested Dec.31 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 north near College Road West around 12:54 a.m. Mr. Estevez also was charged with reckless driving, possessing an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and failing to maintain a marked turn course.
Wanda D. Marable, 20, of Trenton, was arrested Dec.30 and charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 south around 2 a.m. Ms. Marable also was cited for underage driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and possessing of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. She also was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A Public Works Department shed on Schalks Crossing Park was broken into between Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, with someone taking a large metal nail and hammering it into a nearby tree. Nothing else was taken.
David P. Hobson, 19, of Old Bridge, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with driving while under the influence of marijuana on George Davison Road around 10:35 p.m. Mr. Hobson also was cited for possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, unclear license plates, obstructed view and maintenance of lamps. Beverly I. Jimenez, 19, of Princeton, a passenger in Mr. Hobson’s Ford Ranger truck, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
