MANVILLE: Roster of volunteers is named to boards

   At Saturday’s reorganization meeting, volunteer citizens were named to committees and boards for 2013:
   Here are the Borough Council committees. The first person listed is the chairperson:
   Finance: Mark Gregor, Ed Komoroski, Sue Asher.
   Policy, planning, personnel: Lou Petzinger, Ron Skirkanish, Komoroski.
   Public works: Asher, Gregor, Skirkanish.
   Public safety, fire, police, rescue, emergency management: Komoroski, Asher, Steve Szabo.
   Public buildings and grounds: Skirkanish, Szabo, Petzinger.
   Progress and development: Szabo, Petzinger, Gregor.
   Special committees include the Technology Committee of Mayor Corradino, Petzinger, Komoroski, Michael Corradino, Frank Jurewicz, Bill Wright and Sherri Lynn.
   On the Redevelopment Committee are Mayor Corradino, Petzinger, Gregor and citizen advisors Alan Harwick and Sherri Lynn.
   Raritan and Millstone Flood Control Commission: Frank Jurewicz and Stephen Rodzinak for 5-year terms, and Mayor Corradino and Sherri Lynn for 1-year terms.

   Mayor’s appointments to Planning Board (Council confirmation not required): Ken Skirkanish as municipal official member for one-year term, and alternates Mike Impellizeri and Stephen Rodzinak, both for 1-year terms.
   Library Advisory Board: Kathryn Quick, 3-year term; Joe Patero, 2-year term; Alan Harwick, 1-year term; alternate Sandy Scrape (2-year term) and Sharon Krebs, alternate for 1-year term.
   Confirmation was made by the Council of the following appointments:
   Zoning Board of Adjustment: Anthony Roberts as alternate for 2-year term.
   Recreation Committee: Mark Bradley and Natalie Walkoviak, both for 3-year terms; Sherri Lynn, remaining year of unexpired 3-year term, and Dennis Petti, remaining two years of unexpired 3-year term.
   Board of Health: Kathryn Quick and Sherri Lynn, both 3-year terms; Kevin Ryan, remaining year of unexpired 3-year term; Councilman Skirkanish as council liasion, 1-year term.
   Somerset Regional Animal Shelter: Robin A. Gardner, 1-year term, and alternate Sherri Lynn, 1-year term.
   Somerset Raritan Valley Sewerage Authority: Philip E. Petrone for 5-year term.
   Solid Waste Advisory Committee: Philip E. Petrone for 1-year term.
