A ssemblyman Patrick Diegnan is spot on with his comments about a school security ramp-up. Diegnan listened to experts. Better school architecture is what we need, and it is sinful with all the school construction that took place in our state that such security was not already there to begin with.
We don’t need police officers in our schools. Local mayors who call for police officers in school as a “no brainer” are just that themselves — “no brainers.” Vote them out. Let’s use a little common sense here. Listen to the politicians who took the time to talk to the experts. Stop tying up resources over fear. It is going to cost lives in the end elsewhere.
