Tips on trips, camps available by phone, online

To the editor:
For the first time in 11 years, Tips on Trips and Camps will not be sponsoring a Summer Opportunities Fair for teens and pre-teens in the Princeton area.
For the past 10 years, the fair was hosted by the high school’s PTO. But due to the increased costs associated with hosting a fair at Princeton High School, there will not be a fair this year. Families will need to look for summer options another way.
Fortunately for families looking for overnight camps and teen programs, Tips on Trips and Camps has always offered more than a fair. Tips is a free advisory service and they are happy to help. It is a very easy process! A call or email to Princeton’s Nurit Zachter will result in a list of programs that match family’s needs and student’s interest. She will supply websites and have brochures and DVD’s mailed all at no cost to families. Don’t spend hours surfing the web, make your research targeted to programs carefully screened and selected.
Although the Tips fair had become a Princeton tradition. I am happy to be able to continue to offer our wonderful service to New Jersey families.
