Neve Shalom Adult Education is presenting an Israel Film Series. Admission is free for those registered for the spring semester. If viewing one film only, the cost is $10.
“The Debt” will be shown on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. The 2007 Israeli film inspired the recent Hollywood hit movie. This thriller in Hebrew with subtitles is about three young Israeli secret agents who are sent to capture a Nazi doctor, and the secrets that are uncovered 30 years later.
“Live and Become” will be shown on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. This is the story of an Ethiopian boy transported to Israel during Operation Moses, and the personal changes that touch him. It is in Hebrew and French, with English subtitles, and runs 140 minutes.
