PRINCETON: Hospital site task force to meet

By Philip Sean Curran, Staff Writer
The newly created task force looking at rezoning the former University Medical Center is due to start meeting this week.
The first scheduled meeting is set for noon on Thursday, followed by meeting on Jan. 22 and Jan. 24 so far.
The task force, created by the Princeton Council, was formed in the wake of the Planning Board’s rejection of AvalonBay’s proposed 280-unit apartment building.
Mayor Liz Lempert and others are serving on the task force, responsible for recommending zoning changes for the site.
All meetings, held inside the municipal building on Witherspoon Street, are open to the public.
