Hillsborough Parent Advisory Council has scheduled a series of lectures on how parents can support their special education children’s learning outside of school.
All meetings are from on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the media center of Hillsborough High School.
On Jan. 23, the talk will focus on support in math, and, on April 17, in speech, occupational and physical therapies.
There will be “break-out” sessions for the age groups of preschool /school age, elementary/ARIS, and middle/high school.
The topic discussed Dec. 5 was “How to Support Your Child at Home in Reading and Writing.”
If you plan to attend, you are asked to RSVP to [email protected] one week prior to event.
The HPAC is a partnership between parents, teachers and administrators in the special education community.
