SOUTH BRUNSWICK: District to hold Kindergarten registration next month

   The South Brunswick School District will conduct Kindergarten Registration for the 2013 – 2014 school year on Wednesday, Feb. 20. In the event of an emergency school closing, Registration will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27. Children who will attain the age of five by October 31, 2013 are eligible. It is important that parents take advantage of this early registration date and make every effort to attend.

   Parents/Guardians registering children under the following categories: Family living with a South Brunswick resident; a Certificate of Anticipated Residency; or Affidavit Status are required to schedule an appointment with Patricia Gable, 732-297-7800, ext. 3107.
   Parents/Guardians who reside in South Brunswick and own their own domicile or have a rental agreement in their own name do not need an appointment and are asked to report to their assigned school during one of the listed times.

   Parents/Guardians may register their student at the assigned school during any of the prescribed times. It is not necessary for your child to attend Kindergarten Registration and only one parent/guardian is required to be present.
   Please be aware that children entering the 2013 – 2014 Kindergarten program must attain the age of five on or before Oct. 31. The School District strictly adheres to this entrance age policy.
   The South Brunswick School District conducts a full-day Kindergarten program.
   Students entering Brooks Crossing or Deans should register from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., or 6-8 p.m. at Brooks Crossing Elementary School, 50 Deans Rhode Hall Road, Monmouth Junction.
   Students entering for either Indian Fields or Dayton should register from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 1-2 p.m., or 6-8 p.m. at Dayton Elementary School, 310 George’s Road, Dayton.
   Students entering the Brunswick Acres, Cambridge, Constable, Greenbrook, or Monmouth Junction schools should report to those schools from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., or 6-8 p.m.
