Police blotter items from Allentown and Robbinsville
Allentown
Alexandra Gonzalez, 18, of Cream Ridge, was charged with driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street at 6 p.m., Jan. 12, police said.
Robbinsville
Toga Roberts, 21, of Hamilton was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop at 8:51 p.m., Jan. 9, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet pulled the vehicle over on Route 130 South near Work Out World for failing to maintain its lane. The officer detected evidence of narcotics in the vehicle and a subsequent search revealed a small quantity of drug paraphernalia, police said. The accused was also charged with failure to maintain lane and failure to maintain vehicle headlamps.
Lara Wilder, 20, of Hamilton, was charged with DWI and other offenses at 2:52 a.m., Jan. 10, police said.
Patrolman Wayne Haugh saw a vehicle speeding on Robbinsville-Allentown Road and pulled it over near the bypass. During the traffic stop, the officer detected evidence that Ms. Wilder was intoxicated and requested she perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.
She was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane and having an open container of alcohol, police said.
Katie Ott, 30, of Richboro, Pennsylvania was charged with DWI at 2:48 a.m., Jan. 14, police said.
Patrolman Shawn Bruton saw a vehicle speeding and failing to maintain its lane on Sharon Road. The officer pulled the vehicle over near Scheidler Drive, detected evidence the driver was intoxicated, and requested she perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.
Ms. Ott was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, making an unsafe lane change, speeding and use of a cell phone while driving, police said.
Carlos Mendoza-Monney, 34, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 4:19 p.m., Jan 16, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle failing to maintain its lane while traveling south on Route 130 and pulled it over near Kuser Road. During the stop, the officer detected evidence that narcotics might be present and a search of the vehicle uncovered a large quantity of marijuana, police said.
Mr. Mendoza-Monney was additionally charged with CDS in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane, police said.
A resident of the 200 block of Hutchinson Road reported her home had been burglarized sometime between 7:50 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 16.
The victim told police jewelry worth $15,000 had been taken. There were no signs of forced entry. The Robbinsville Criminal Investigations Unit processed the scene.
Meaghan Paige, 22, of Robbinsville, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 3:18 a.m., Jan. 18, police said.
Patrolman Adrian Markowski saw a vehicle failing to maintain its lane while traveling north on Route 130 and pulled it over near Windsor Road. During the traffic stop, the officer detected evidence the driver was intoxicated and asked her to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.
Ms. Paige was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and being an uninsured motorist, police said.
A burglar stole a laptop computer and other items from a home on Robbinsville-Edinburg Road sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Jan. 18, police said.
Police said the intruder got inside by forcing entry through the front door. Also taken were amplifiers, a jar of change and other miscellaneous items. The total value of the stolen items was not immediately available.
