ROBBINSVILLE Robbinsville High School’s FIRST Robotics Team 2590 is hosting two Sponsor Networking Days to thank its corporate and community sponsors for their contributions to the team and welcome new ones.
The events will be held in the Robbinsville High School Technology Lab at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, and 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9. Potential business and community sponsors are invited to either event, which will include a tour of the Tech Lab, a brief overview of the successful 2012 robotics season and an update on the 2013 season.
Robotics team members will present each sponsor with a laser-engraved plaque made by students in the lab.
Food and refreshments will be served and there will be time to network with their fellow sponsors. Corporations interested in sponsoring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs are invited.
Sponsors are indispensable supporters of the team. Their donations help pay for materials, equipment, and the team’s registration fees and travel expenses to competitions.
