This summer, the Freehold Soil Conservation District will award two $2,000 scholarships to students majoring in a conservation-related field.
The Neal Munch and Mac Clark scholarships are awarded annually to honor their years of dedicated and distinguished service to conservation.
Applicants must be residents of Monmouth or Middlesex County; be entering their junior or senior year of college by the fall 2013 semester; and be majoring in a field related to conservation including, but not limited to, agriculture, environmental education, environmental science, environmental studies, forestry, geology, landscape design, resource management or soil science.
