Mr. Mackey, 91, of Freehold, died Jan. 16, 2013, at the John L. Montgomery Care Center, Freehold Township, after a long illness. Surviving are two sons and their wives, John R. and Myra Mackey of Neptune, and David and Patricia Mackey of the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold Township; a sister, Christine Quiller of Graniteville, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; 36 greatgrandchildren; and many other family members. A funeral service was held at the New Hope Baptist Church, Freehold. Arrangements were by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
