The Hopewell Valley Education Foundation proudly announces its second annual “The Power of 100” campaign designed to raise funds for the Hopewell Valley Regional School District.
Last year the campaign received overwhelming support and raised over $22,000, which was dedicated to launching the district wide iPad program.
This year the focus will be on funding a broad range of grants and initiatives that support and strengthen our schools, inspire our students, and spark a lifelong love of learning.
To date, the foundation has raised over $5,000 toward this year’s goal of $25,000. We are happy to announce 100 percent HVEF board participation and support at this initial launching point.
The “Power of 100” campaign began with a challenge for 100 families to generously and philanthropically support the foundation at the $100 or above level.
We appreciate and thank those who gave so generously last year to the goal of obtaining a classroom set of iPads in each school, and ask for your consideration to join us at the same level (or higher!) to help us reach our goal for 2012-13.
The Hopewell Valley Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance the educational experience in the Hopewell Valley public schools by identifying and developing community partnerships and resources.
Specifically, some of the recent programs and events made possible with funding from HVEF are Project Lead The Way (the middle school pre-engineering curriculum), artists, authors and composers-in-residence experiences, outdoor classroom and outdoor education enhancement, classroom technologies for science, social studies, health and wellness, guided study library materials, and math exemplars. All areas of curriculum from advanced to special needs have been recipients of grant funding from HVEF.
