ROBBINSVILLE — A 40-year-old Hamilton man walking along Robbinsville-Allentown Road was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Sunday evening, police said.
Police responding to multiple 911 calls at 5:44 p.m. about a pedestrian struck by a car in front of 99 Robbinsville-Allentown Road (Route 526) found William Paskewicz lying in the roadway. Robbinsville firefighters, EMS and paramedics determined the victim was already deceased, police said.
A preliminary investigation determined Mr. Paskewicz had been walking east on Robbinsville-Allentown Road when he was struck. The hit-and-run vehicle police are looking for is a dark metallic blue color, has front end damage to the passenger side, and is also missing a headlight on the passenger side.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has seen a vehicle with damage consistent with what police have described, is asked to call Patrolman Thomas Egan or Detective William Swanhart at 609-259-3900.
