HILLSBOROUGH: Police report burglaries during daytime in mid-January

   Three daytime burglaries in mid-January were reported by Hillsborough police.
   One was on Zion Road on Jan. 20. It was still being determined if anything was stolen.
   A Hockenbury Road resident reported a daytime burglary Jan. 11. The list of stolen items has yet to be compiled by the resident.
   A Surrey Drive resident reported Jan. 10 that an estimated $17,860 worth of jewelry had been stolen.
   In all cases, detectives are investigating.
   In other incidents, police said that Timothy Haney, 26, of Hillsborough was charged with driving under the influence on Route 206 on Jan. 13. Mr. Haney obtained breath test results of 0.19 percent blood alcohol and was released after also being charged with making an improper left turn and driving with a suspended license.
   Police reported Oscar Matysiak, 20 of Hillsborough was charged Dec. 23 with trespassing on Bloomingdale Drive after he allegedly entered the garage of a stranger without permission. He was released after booking.
