On Friday, February 22nd 2013, singer/songwriter Brandon Broderick will perform a 3 hour acoustic set of originals and covers at Teddy’s Restaurant in Cranbury, NJ. The music kicks off around 6pm and will end at 9pm. The event is free admission.
Brandon Broderick is the singer/songwriter and guitar player for the NJ rock band, Cotton. The band tours extensivley through the tri-state area, performing full band as well as acoustic performances. Brandon Broderick’s solo acoustic performances are filled with classic cover songs from famous songwriters like Neil Young and Dave Matthews. The performance also features many original songs Broderick penned himself.
Broderick’s acoustic performances showcase a large catalog of songs, many of which he refuses to repeat from night to night.
"My band and I enjoy playing different songs from night to night. In fact, we try to play an entirely different setlist every show. All my favorite bands I’ve seen live always change it up. It keeps it fresh for us and also makes our live show more interesting. When you come see us live, you never know what songs are going to be played, and we’re always performing new ones. That’s exiting for us and the crowd." —Brandon Broderick
The young 23 year old songwriter likes to write songs about the live music scene and even has his own blog dedicated to the music industry and the sustainability of local live music: www.bbrods.tumblr.com. Broderick is often referred to as a "live jukebox" because of the wide range of song selection and his ability to perform many different genres from modern pop to jazz, blues and even country and bluegrass. On February 22nd, as a special peformance at Teddy’s Restaurant, Broderick will be joined by Cotton bandmate and guitarist Leo Kalik and local female vocalist Rebecca Runskill. Both musicians will perform on multiple songs.
