Christian Bulow, 19, of New Egypt, was charged with DWI and other offenses at 2:31 a.m., Jan. 27, police said.
Patrolman Colin Lockwood saw Mr. Bulow’s car traveling east on Route 33 at a slow speed, with hazard lights activated, and failing to maintain its lane. The officer pulled the car over near The Lofts at Town Center and discovered Mr. Bulow appeared to be intoxicated and had been in a one-car crash on Washington Boulevard, where he lost control of his car and drove over the median, police said.
Mr. Bulow failed field sobriety tests, police said. He was additionally charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, following another vehicle too closely, failure to report a motor vehicle accident and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.
Mr. Bulow was arrested, processed and released with a pending court date.
Samantha Saperstein, 19, of Robbinsville, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 12:39 a.m., Jan. 27, police said.
Patrolman Shawn Emmons saw a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of First Choice Bank and initiated contact with the driver. The officer detected evidence narcotics might be present and a subsequent search revealed a small quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Ms. Saperstein was arrested, processed and released with a pending court date.
Nicholas Capriotti, 49, of New Egypt, was charged with narcotics offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 12:47 p.m., Jan. 25, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle traveling east on I-195 failing to maintain its lane, and pulled it over on Robbinsville-Allentown Road. During the traffic stop the officer detected evidence narcotics may be present and a subsequent search revealed several prescription drugs, police said.
Mr. Capriotti was charged with possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to maintain lane, police said.
He was arrested, processed and released pending a court date.
Elizabeth Ehly, 19, of Beachwood, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:53 p.m., Jan. 22, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle traveling east on I-195 failing to maintain its lane and pulled it over near Exit 7. During the traffic stop, the officer detected evidence the passenger in the car might be in possession of narcotics and a subsequent search revealed drug paraphernalia, police said.
Ms. Ehly, the passenger, was arrested, processed and released pending a court date.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the burglaries that occurred Jan. 16 on the 200 Hutchinson Road and Jan. 18 on the 10 block of Robbinsville-Edinburg Road, police reported Monday.
Anthony Santoro, 38, of Robbinsville, has been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, and one count of criminal mischief. Municipal Court Judge Douglas Hoffman set bail at $10,000. Mr. Santoro remained incarcerated at the Mercer County Workhouse on Monday in lieu of bail.
A criminal complaint charging Lisa Gray, 28, of Hamilton, with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and one count of criminal mischief was also signed, but she had not yet been arrested as of Monday. A warrant was issued and Judge Hoffman set bail at $10,000.
The suspects allegedly stole $15,000 worth of jewelry from the Hutchinson Road residence and a laptop computer and other items from the Robbinsville-Edinburg Road house. These items have not yet been recovered, police said.
Police declined to comment on what evidence led to the criminal charges against Mr. Santoro and Ms. Gray. Both crimes remain under investigation by Detective Peter Galazka.
A recent Craigslist ad for a used tractor led to the arrest of a Trenton man in connection with the theft of the machine from a Windsor Road farm last winter.
Police said John Peters, 35, was charged with theft on Jan. 19, after the real owner of the stolen tractor saw it advertised on Craigslist and contacted police. After learning the tractor was located in Millstone Township, Robbinsville police contacted the state police, who have jurisdiction in Millstone, and the tractor was recovered.
The tractor had been stolen on March 12, 2012 from the 200 block of Windsor Road, police said. Detective William Swanhart worked with the state police to gather the information needed to charge Mr. Peters with the crime.
Mr. Peters was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date.
