HILLSBOROUGH: Democrats to watch State of the Union speech

The Hillsborough Democratic Community Club and its affiliated caucuses invite the public to view and discuss President Obama’s State of the Union address, “Our People, Our Future,” on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Pizza and Pasta restaurant, 930 S. Main St., Manville (next to Central Jersey Airport) from 7 to 10 p.m.
”This event is nonpartisan and open to all interested parties — Democrats, Republicans and independents alike,” says William Kole, president of the Hillsborough Democratic Community Club. “It will be co-sponsored by the HDCC and the Somerset County Democratic Committee Latin American, Afro American, GLBT, Asian American and Young Democrats caucuses.”
The event will include voluntary participation in an interactive, informative discussion of State of the Union addresses.
”It will be educational, but also a lot of fun,” said Mr. Kole. A donation of $15 per person is requested and will include pizza and nonalcoholic beverages.
RSVP by Feb. 10 to William Kole at [email protected] or Aldo Martinez at [email protected], 908-625-5795. Checks should be made payable to CTE Hillsborough Democrats and mailed to 26 Nottingham Way, Hillsborough, 08844.
