— Borough Council decided, at its Jan. 14 meeting, that, after further consideration of the matter, the Wilson Drive improvement project should be returned to its original design scope.
”The work will be limited to Wilson Drive itself,” Ms. Hovan said.
It was decided that limiting the work to Wilson Drive would result in better overall drainage.
In addition to drainage work, the project includes improvement to the road surface of Wilson Drive.
A $450,000 bond ordinance that will pay for work on Wilson Drive was adopted by the Stockton Borough Council during its Dec. 10 meeting.
Under that measure, a $165,000 grant from the state Department of Transportation (DOT) will pay for part of the work on Wilson Drive, with the borough covering the balance of the cost.
