PRINCETON: Goerner named to Connect New Jersey board

PRINCETON — Former township mayor Chad Goerner was named this week to a nonprofit organization to help towns consolidate.
Mr. Goerner, a leading advocate for the consolidation of the former Princeton Township and Borough, will volunteer on the board of directors of Courage to Connect New Jersey, the organization announced Wednesday. Mr. Goerner left office at the end of last year.
”Courage to Connect New Jersey shares in the open-minded approach to improving the fiscal sustainability of local government through the full evaluation of consolidation,” he said in a press release the organization issued.
