PLAINSBORO: Schools & WWP HS South on lockdown

   All Plainsboro Schools were placed on lockdown shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday as well as High School South due to a suspicious male and female in the woods in possession of hunting rifles in the area of Millstone Pond.
   All Plainsboro and West Windsor officers were looking for these individuals.
   Officers were also stationed at every West Windsor school.
   There was also a State Police helicopter in the area conducting a search pattern.
   All buses are late due to the lockdowns.
   In the schools not affected by the lockdowns, EDP will remain in effect. In the schools with lockdowns, EDP will be in effect when the lockdowns are lifted; parents should pick up children at the regularly scheduled time.
   Lockdowns remain for High School North, Millstone River, CMS, and Wicoff. The lockdowns will be in effect beyond dismissal. Police will remain on site at all the schools.
   In the schools on lockdown, all after-school activities are cancelled. All sports events at CMS are cancelled. All early sports events at HSN are cancelled.
   The Program of Studies Program for Grade 8 parents at this time will be held at HSN at 7 p.m.
