Mrs. Gangemi, 87, of Jackson, formerly of Marlboro and Hasbrouck Heights, died Jan. 9, 2013, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, after a brief illness. She had worked for the Janelli Carpet Company in New York City and the Utility Brass and Copper Corp. in Moonachie. She was predeceased by her husband, Bruno; three brothers, Mike, Frank and John; and a sister, Marie. Surviving are three children, Rick of Loudonville, N.Y., Nancy Morone of Howell, and Tom of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Marlboro, followed by entombment at the parish mausoleum. Arrangements were by the Freeman Manalapan- Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
