Princeton
Audrey Li, 21, of 1903 Hall Princeton University, was charged with simple assault and domestic violence at the Colonial Club on Prospect Avenue on Feb. 9 at 1:29 a.m. Police said Ms. Li kneed the victim in the groin and scratched the victim’s face during an argument. Police said the victim’s information is confidential.
West Windsor
Donald J. Ardito of South Plainfield was fired from his job at Batallre Beauty in Carnegie Center after making a reference to the Newtown, Conn., shooting when he and coworker Kelly Gambino, 44, of Milltown got in an argument over a printer malfunction on Jan. 31. Police said Ms. Gambino described Mr. Ardito as a “hot head,” but reported the incident to her boss because of the Newtown reference, which ended in Mr. Ardito’s termination. Police said she reported the incident to the police so it was documented.
Peter Robertson, 53, of West Windsor, reported his 2003 gray Volkswagon sedan was stolen sometime between 6 p.m. on Feb. 4 and 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 6 while it was in the parking lot of 301 Trinity Court. The car was valued at approximately $4,680.
Bristol-Meyers Squibb on Nassau Park Boulevard reported thousands of dollars’ worth of electronics stolen sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 7:39 a.m. on Feb. 6.
Tiombe Parker, 20, of Trenton, and Courtney J. Stafford, 19, of Ewing, were charged with shoplifting eight cans of baby formula worth a total of $271.84 at Wegman’s on Nassau Park Boulevard on Feb. 6 at 12:15 p.m. Ms. Parker was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, falsifying records and having numerous outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was turned over to Hamilton Township police on the active warrants.
Montgomery
William Scanlon, 62, of East Brunswick, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 518 on Feb. 6 at 11:10 p.m. He was also charged with having an open container of alcohol in his car, operating an unregistered vehicle and careless driving.
Plainsboro
An employee of the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro reported her cell phone was stolen sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Feb. 5. The phone in addition to five international calls that were made brings the total loss to $441.96, according to police. The case is under investigation and has been turned over to the detective’s bureau.
Tony Zhou, 26, of East Brunswick, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia on Route 1 on Feb. 10 at 2:19 a.m. He also received summonses for maintenance of lamps, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, suspended driver’s license, failure to inspect, unclear license plate and failure to exhibit a driver’s license.
