The Florence Marching Band Boosters would like to thank everyone who bought a Florence Flashes Christmas ornament. The fundraiser was very successful.
The Band Boosters members are participating in a Gertrude Hawk Chocolates fundraiser until tomorrow — Feb. 15, but orders can also be placed online until March 24.

The Florence Township Council will convene for a regular session meeting at 8 p.m. Feb. 20. It will take place at the Municipal Complex, 711 Broad St.
There will be a Lenten Dinner at the Consolidated Fire Association, 20 Crosswicks Road in Bordentown p.m. to 8 p.m. March 1, March 8. March 16, March 22 and March.
Folks can eat in or take out. Out- Delivery to home bound residents.
All dinners include French fries.

The Riverfront School PTO will be holding its annual Basket Bonanza (Tricky Tray) on Saturday, March 2. Tickets are $10 each which includes a sheet of 25 raffle tickets.
There will be more than 15 baskets with themes and also gift certificates.Grand prizes an iPad Mini, a flat screen TV and a Great Wolf Lodge getaway.

Providence Presbyterian Church, of Bustleton, will be holding a Pasta Fest on March 2. The church is located at 2087 Old York Rd in Florence.
This annual event features a diverse menu including pasta, lasagna, shrimp and chicken.
There will be three seatings: 4 p.m.; 5:30 p.m.; and 7 p.m. Prices are $12 for adults.

Bus trip to Lancaster Sight & Sound Theatre to see “Noah” sponsored by Sts. Francis & Clare Altar & Rosary Society, April 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $100 per person which includes show admittance, bus, Kitchen Kettle, village shopping and dinner at Shady Maple in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Money for the trip is due by March 3; no deposits will be taken.
