HILLSBOROUGH: Young Central Jersey wrestlers dispatch two foes

    The Hillsborough Central Jersey wrestlers defeated Summit, 76-7, and upended Clark, 64-15, on Sunday.
    In the 50-pound weight class Evan Karolewski defeated his opponent from Summit, 7-1, and he won his match against Clark, 8-1. Chris Spinelli lost two hard-fought decisions in the 53-pound weight class.
    Cole Psmenecki (57) had a win by fall and the other by forfeit. At 60 pounds, Austin Quandt went 1-1 on the day. At 63 pounds, AJ Johnson lost a hard-fought match against his Summit foe, 9-6, but came back against Clark, winning 3-1.
    Ryan Oram (67) won two close matches by decision. Vinny Aboosmara (70) won against Summit, 10-5, and Clark, 12-7. Zachary Volpe (73) won one match by major and one by forfeit.
    At 77 pounds, Kevin Quabeck went 1-1, collecting his sixth pin of the season. Cameron Hill (80) collected two dominating wins and Ray O’Callahan collected two forfeits (83).
At 87 pounds, Dan Chesner picked up one win by fall. Charlie Cohen won his first match by forfeit and his second match by a fall in the first period at 90 pounds. Brian Musumeci won both of his matches by forfeit at 95pounds.
    Arex Wyatt picked up two pins in the 102-pound weight class. Jack Boylan (110) went 2-0 and collected a pin against Clark. Heavyweight Emilio Guerrero wrestled well and closed out each match with a pin.
