Hiring Our Heroes Employment and “Coaching” Fair Scheduled for February 21, Somerville

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, ESGR, The American Legion and New Jersey State Library will be hosting a Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) job and coaching fair at American Legion Stevenson-D’Alessio Post 12, 232 Union Ave., Somerville, on Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Resume writing and interview skill “coaching”/training will start at 8:30 a.m. with representatives from the State Library, Dept. of Labor & Workforce Development and Lowes. Veterans and their spouses are encouraged to take advantage of this event, which will be supported by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMAVA), the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD), the Veterans Administration (VA), the State Parole Board, the Somerset County Library System, and other local partners.
