Adam Berkowitz of Hillsborough was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Towson (Md.) University. He is an exercise science major and 2011 graduate of Hillsborough High School.
Simone Rudich of Hillsborough was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Gwynedd-Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, Pa.
Junior Lauren Roman of Hillsborough achieved straight A’s for the fall semester and has made the dean’s list at Rowan University in Glassboro.
She is an elementary education and a 2010 Hillsborough High graduate.
The dean’s list is bestowed upon undergraduates who have grade-point averages of 3.45 or better. Lauren’s was 3.96.
Matt Speciale, a 2011 Hillsborough High School graduate, made the dean’s list for fall semester at Kean University. Matt is studying communications and is a member of the university’s men’s lacrosse team.
Matt Leddy, a 2011 graduate of Hillsborough High School, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Pennsylvania State University. Matt is enrolled in the Smeal College of Business at the University Park campus and is pursing a major in finance.
Two Hillsborough residents made the dean’s list for the fall semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.
Among the approximately 1,800 fulltime students on the list were Erin E. Manning, a recreation and sport management major, and Lexie M. Ballah, an elementary education major. Both are from Hillsborough.
To qualify, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade-point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5.
Local students have been named to the dean’s list at the University of Delaware for the fall semester in Newark, Del.
The Hillsborough students are Samantha Altholtz, Briana Basilone, Katie Bonanno, Lauren Bonanno, Neil Brandwein, Jenelle Buckle, Haley Cohen, Lauren DeCasperis, Meghan Doyle, Jeffrey Dyer, Julie Figard, Brielle Gerry, Marina Grappone, Amanda Hansen, Jennifer Mitchell, Stephanie Nunes, Christopher Nunn, Danica Price, Nicole Rittman, Andrew Schaaf, Kyle Yurcisin and Veronica Zuccarello.
A student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or higher.
