Three Hillsborough women will be honored at the 21st annual Outstanding Women in Somerset County awards dinner, sponsored by the county Commission on the Status of Women, on Friday, March 22.
The commission presents these awards annually in celebration of Women’s History Month in March. Honorees are women who live or work in Somerset County.
The program will be held at The Imperia at 1714 Easton Ave., Somerset. Advance reservations are required by March 11; no reservations will be taken at the door. Tickets are on sale now.
A cash bar at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 7:30. Tickets are $50 per person.

Hillsborough’s Viktoria Wargo, Dianne Leoni and Donna Dourney are on the list of honorees.
Ms. Wargo will be honored in the education category, Ms. Leoni as an entrepreneur and Ms. Dourney as a “hometown hero.”
Ms. Wargo was nominated by Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli after he attended last year’s premiere of Ms. Wargo’s documentary, “Touched by Autism,” a film on how the Hillsborough community embraces autism through the eyes of its families, friends and educators.
Ms. Leoni, who is an elementary school teacher at Amsterdam School, has collaborated with a national educational company to develop Coin Tiles, a product that helps children identify coins and make change.
Ms. Dourney directs the organization Girls on the Run, a central Jersey running program for 3rd through 8th grade girls, and is also helped establish a fund to support ALS patients and families.
