Ralph D. Pinto

Mr. Pinto, 86, of Riverview, Fla., died Jan. 21, 2013, at Sun City Center Hospice House, Ruskin, Fla. He was born in East Orange and had lived in Newark and Howell prior to moving to Florida. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Pinto was employed as a sanitation worker for Pequannock Disposals, Pequannock, an assembler for Steel & Alloy Tank Co., Newark, and a clerk for DesChamps, East Hanover, and Grand Union, Howell, until his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna I. “Raspa” Pinto; two sisters, Rose Mangiafico and Margaret Acone; and six brothers, Frank, Andrew, Dominick, Gerald, Augustino and Matthew Pinto. Surviving are a son, James Pinto and his wife, Elisa, of Winter Garden, Fla.; a daughter, Ann Marie McGuigan and her husband, Thomas, of Riverview, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Pinto and Anthony Pinto; several in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
