Mrs. Nowicki, 88, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Jan. 29, 2013, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a shoemaker for the South River Shoe Co. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephan; and two brothers, Joseph and Frank Zawistowski. Surviving are two children, Robert, and his partner, Lynn Benden, of Campbell Hall, N.Y., and Patricia Gawron, and her husband, Mark, of Dorchester, S.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O.
