Volunteers from the AARP Foundation TaxAide program will be preparing taxes in the library on Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction. Tax preparation is free with special attention to helping low- to moderate-income seniors although all ages and income levels are welcome. Make a reservation at the senior center and bring a photo ID and last year’s tax return. Program Rm. 1A/1B.

American Legion Post 401 and Boy Scout Troop 10 will host a spaghetti dinner at the Post Hall, 148 Major Road, South Brunswick, on from 5 to 8 p.m. to raise funds for Patrick Hurley’s Eagle Scout Project. The menu will feature spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, coffee, tea, soda and desserts. The dinner is open to the public. Tickets are $8 per person, $10 at the door, kids under 5 are free. The Scout project is the refurbishment of areas of the Tall Timbers Park off Culver Road, to include fixing up the outside of the rest room building; repairing the grills; cutting back overgrown bushes and a general cleanup.
