Someone or a few took the Vet Markers and some Firemen Markers from about 59 graves at the Columbus Cemetery.A visitor came to the cemetery to attend to her father’s grave and found his marker missing. She and her husband, searched the cemetery and found the markers thrown all over the grounds. They were kind enough to pick up all of the markers. The markers do not have names on them. They only have the year and the war the veteran served our country.Thank you in advance for any help you can give the cemetery committee members. Please remember that the ground at the cemetery is sacred and has special meaning to those who have family members buried there.Call Dorothy Archer at 609-298-4339 with any information as to what happened.
