HILLSBOROUGH: $64,000 in electronics, jewelry reported stolen

   Hillsborough police said a Zion Road resident reported Feb. 1 an afternoon burglary that resulted in the theft of $64,223.59 worth of electronics and jewelry.
   Township detectives are investigating.
   In other incidents, a Powelson Drive resident reported Feb. 14 that two vehicles were entered and rummaged through during overnight hours. Nothing was reported taken.
   Police said Craig Sinclair, 37, of Hillsborough was arrested Feb. 11 at Nelson’s Corner Shopping Center after police received a complaint of a man begging for money and creating a disturbance to those who declined. He was released after being charged with violating a township ordinance that prohibits begging for money, police said.
   Michael Flanagan, 27, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged for driving while intoxicated on Andria Avenue on Jan. 26. Mr. Flanagan registered a breath test reading of 0.12 blood alcohol and was released after also being charged with failing to wear a seatbelt.
