ROBBINSVILLE: Apply soon for grant to remove debris

   ROBBINSVILLE — The township’s Office of Emergency Management will be applying to FEMA for a Private Property Debris Removal Grant. If awarded, this will permit the township to remove Hurricane Sandy debris from private property.
   Any resident that elects to take part will be required to:
   1) Permit the Department of Public Works access to their property;
   2) sign a Hold Harmless Agreement;
   3) Provide proof of homeowners insurance.
   Application for this grant does not guarantee approval. FEMA will have final say on which properties are eligible and each property will be evaluated on a case-by -case basis.
   Any resident that has Hurricane Sandy Debris remaining on their property and wishes to take part in this grant application should contact Lt. Michael Polaski at the Robbinsville Township Police Department at 609-259-3900. The deadline to apply for this grant is 4 p.m. Monday, March 11.
