Celebrate Winter’s End with Kalmia at the ‘Spring Stomp’

NEW HOPE — Tickets are now on sale for the “Spring Stomp” benefit dance party designed to shake off the winter blues in celebration of spring.
Hosted by the Lambertville Kalmia Club, the March 23 “Spring Stomp” will feature music by rhythm and blues favorite J.B. Kline Band, fresh off a gig with southern rock star Marshall Tucker, who called the band “the best opening act we’ve ever had.”
”We’re delighted to offer residents of Hunterdon and Bucks counties a really fun, affordable night out to celebrate the end of winter and coming of spring,” said fundraising committee member, Rene Taylor.
”So please put on your dancing shoes — or just come out and enjoy some good food and great company in support of a really good cause. We promise it’ll provide the perfect antidote to cabin fever,” she said.
The Saturday night party takes place from 7:30 p.m.-midnight at the Eagle Firehouse, 46 N. Sugan Road, New Hope.
Advance tickets are $20, with tickets available at the door for $25. Ticket price includes “delectable delights by Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods,” said a spokeswoman.
