Lawrenceville, N.J – February 28, 2013 – The Central and South Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is pleased to announce that on Thursday, April 18th, 2013, Ray Catena Mercedes Benz in Edison, NJ will be hosting Pink Night Out –a women’s night out to help end breast cancer forever! Ray Catena Motor Cars has been very supportive of the organization. Nancy Healey, Executive Director, discussed the upcoming event: “We are really looking forward to a fabulous night of fun! The Catena’s are amazing contributors to the cure, and we are so excited for them to be able to host the event. It really is going to be an amazing night and it will help bring us one step closer in winning the fight against breast cancer.”
This wonderful night will include a plethora of fun activities. A cooking demonstration will be done by Mary Beth Madill, and numerous vendors will also be in attendance. These include: Eden Organix, Origami Owl Custom Jewelry, Hot Rox Jewelry, Belt Envy, Thirty One, Chocolate Dove Discoveries Independent Chocolatier, Skin Arise, Scout, and more.

All proceeds will help fulfill the Komen mission of ending breast cancer forever by funding local breast cancer screening and education programs as well as breast cancer research.

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise led to the creation of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. The Central and South Jersey Komen Affiliate serves women in 13 counties of New Jersey from Somerset to Cape May. Programs provide free breast cancer education and screening initiatives. Additionally, 25% of all affiliate proceeds support national breast cancer research programs to find the cures.
