Ballads of Irishtown Concert returns March 10
BORDENTOWN CITY — A collection of Irish ballads will be presented this March.
To celebrate the Irish immigrants who came to Bordentown to build the Camden and Amboy Railroad and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, the Bordentown Historical Society is bringing back its annual Ballads of Irishtown Concert.
The concert will feature McDermontt’s Handy, recently listed as one of the finest and truest purveyors of Irish traditional music in the Delaware Valley by Irishphiladelphia.com.
It will take place 2 p.m. March 10. Tickets are $10 per person. The concert will take at the Friends Meeting House, 302 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown City.
