Keith McCoy, assistant director of the Somerset Country Library, and Ed Smith, director of the Manville Library, were the guest speakers at the Feb. 14 meeting of the Manville Senior Citizens.
They discussed the benefits of joining the county system, which gave us more services, new programs for adults and teens, activities, expanded hours and more computer access. The current Manville library card can be used at any county library. The library has an outreach service that delivers books to the homebound. Also if you have a kindle, nook or e-reader you can download books for free. Contact the library for these services.
